The Moravian Star Paper 60cm with a white/green core is one of many beautiful Moravian stars. These poinsettias are named after the Moravian Brethren, whose headquarters are in Herrnhut. The stars have been handcrafted for over 160 years and have always adorned homes during the Christmas season. The original Moravian Stars adorn many churches, towns, and squares during Advent and Christmas. With these stars, you not only have a poinsettia, but also history in your own home. The original Moravian Stars consist of a total of 25 points. There are 17 square points and eight triangular points. The corresponding illumination is added at the top instead of the 26th point. While the first Moravian Star was originally produced in the colors white/red – white for purity and red for the blood of Christ – a much wider selection of colors is available today. The traditional Moravian paper stars are available in five different sizes, ranging in diameter from 13 cm to 80 cm, and in seven different colors.
